This cloth was woven by a village artisan in northern Laos. The weaver is of Tai Lue ethnicity, a tribe whose refined weaving skills are well known in Laos. They often practise indigo-plant dyeing among other natural dyeing. This cloth is woven using a supplementary weft technique in indigo on a brown background. 100% cotton. The bag is rich in tradition and modern in style.
